Every fund. Every cash flow.
Commitments, calls, distributions and NAV: Valued reads the figures from your documents and calculates the metrics for each fund.
- Commitment, paid in, distributed, NAV and unfunded per fund
- DPI, RVPI, TVPI, net IRR and MOIC from the cash flows
- Recallable distributions and equalisation interest handled as what they are
- Vintage, strategy, manager and currency on every fund
Computed from the record, so they agree with it
Each metric has one definition, shown here, and one source: the bookings you approved.
Cash returned divided by cash paid in. Recallable distributions are shown separately, because they can be called again.
Your share of the reported NAV divided by paid-in. Taken from the latest report you approved, with its date shown.
DPI plus RVPI. The multiple most LP reports quote, computed the same way here so the two agree.
From the dated cash flows of your own commitment, after fees and carry as they appear in the calls and distributions. Not the GP's gross figure.
Total value over invested capital, for readers who prefer it to TVPI. Same inputs, different denominator.
Commitment less paid-in, plus recallable distributions. The number that decides how much liquidity to keep.
Booked from the notice, with the notice attached
A capital call is booked with its call amount, equalisation interest, pre-payment and due date. A distribution with its date, amount and recallable portion. The document stays attached to the booking it produced.
- Due dates land on your calendar of open calls
- Called-to-date checked against the fund's history
- Corrections reopen the booking, never overwrite it silently
| Total commitment | EUR 500,000.00 |
| Called prior to this notice | EUR 320,000.00 |
| Amount of this call | EUR 45,000.00 |
| Equalisation interest | EUR 1,240.00 |
| Total amount due | EUR 46,240.00 |
- Call amount + equalisation = total due
- Called to date reconciles with the fund's bookings (€320,000.00)
- Unfunded after this call: €135,000.00
What is still to come, and roughly when
Unfunded commitment is kept current from the bookings. From each fund's remaining commitment, investment period and drawdown pace so far, Valued projects when the remainder is likely to be called.
- Expected calls per quarter, fund by fund
- Distribution projections from fund age and NAV
- Override any fund's pace by hand
Start with one fund. The rest can follow.
Add a commitment, book its past calls and distributions from the notices or by hand, and see the metrics come out of the record.
